The software

Chorus is free and open-source software, released under the MIT License. The licence text in the repository is the operative grant, and it governs your use, modification and redistribution of the code. Nothing on this page limits the rights that licence gives you.

No warranty

As stated in the MIT License, the software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Chorus automates edits to your Google Photos library, and those edits are real. Photo editing is not risk-free: a batch may be interrupted, Google may change its interface in a way that breaks the extension mid-run, or an action may not do what you expected on a particular photo.

Try any new action on a small selection first. Google Photos keeps originals for edits made through its own editor, and the Revert action restores them, but you should not rely on that as a backup.

Your Google account

Chorus acts inside your own Google Photos session and performs only the actions you initiate. Your use of Google Photos remains subject to Google's own terms. You are responsible for having the right to edit the photos you run it on.

No affiliation with Google

Chorus is an independent open-source project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google LLC. "Google Photos" is a trademark of Google LLC, used here only to describe what the extension is compatible with.

Cost

There is no charge, no subscription, no account and no paid tier. Any support or sponsorship link is entirely voluntary and unlocks nothing — every feature is available to everyone.

The content here is provided for information. Guides describe the extension's behaviour at the time of writing; the source code is the authoritative description of what it actually does.
